Director of Sales

Based in Overland Park, KS (Kansas City Metro Area), CD2 is a fast growing software company that has a pure play as a SAAS offering. CD2 is positioned in a high growth segment of the market; Talent Management. We currently have 25 employees and are looking to build upon our already experienced and talented team. We work hard and play hard. We provide a flexible, fun and laid back work environment, but we strive to be the best in what we offer.


Responsibilities:

  • Must be a Hunter: The position will go after new logo business

  • Build account plans and strategies for each target account

  • Qualify sales opportunities; build and manage sales pipeline in the territory

  • Build and maintain an accurate and robust sales pipeline

  • Coordinate efforts for optimal delivery

  • Drive sales activities in the territory

  • Meet quota/margin objectives for the assigned territory

  • Develop, negotiate and close long-term agreement with accounts in your assigned territory

  • Conduct virtual and live presentations around our solutions

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years business services and/or software sales experience, successfully selling solutions or services at the executive level

  • Experience selling Human Capital Management Software

  • Track record of exceeding company sales quotas

  • Aggressive, hard-working, persuasive, persistent, self-motivated, and productive

  • Multi-tasking and strong time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills and analytical skills

  • Must be comfortable demonstrating software and speaking to technical and non-technical executives

  • Experience with CRM tools
