CD2 Learning Platform Updates



Over first quarter of 2017, the CD2 Learning (CD2) development team has been hard at work updating our Learning Content Management System (LCMS) platform by enhancing and extending existing features, along with building out brand new capabilities. Although many updates were released over the course of the quarter, we are taking this opportunity to highlight two substantial updates. These updates reflect one of our 2017 strategic imperatives, to focus on the user experience of our product, enhancing ease of use for both administrators and learners. A New Model for the Modern Association: APHA's Online Learning Success



The generational shift. As workforce demographics shift, organizations and associations are left scrambling for solutions to training and learning related challenges. Recently we partnered with The American Paint Horse Association (APHA), an organization experiencing a generational shift only impacting their association, but the competitive equestrian industry as a whole. In a nutshell, their veteran membership favors "breed specific" competitions while younger membership favors competition focused on the disciplines (such as cutting, reining, vaulting, etc) across all breeds. Leading the Way in Content Authoring in 2017



John Leh, TalentedLearning.com, just posted "The LMS Meets 2017: Top 15 Learning Tech Predictions." CD2 is proud to be mentioned as a leading platform offering built-in authoring tools. The CD2 platform also includes a content management system where all content items are version controlled, cataloged, and tagged. This allows fast search and retrieval of items for reuse and repurpose in multiple courses, social collaborations, or as stand-alone items in a resource library. The result is a higher degree of flexibility with granular tracking. Change management is also easier since making updates in one place will automatically cascade everywhere.
